I understand why you would want to keep ToC an exclusive feature of MMD Composer. The downside is that handling large text files is virtually impossible in nvUltra.

I second the suggestion to make extensions optionally hidden.

Perhaps it is my fault then. I do have one installed, but since it was disabled I figured it must have been Safari's native configurations/content blocking in action. I apologize for the confusion.

Amber nailed it. That was the problem. I never could have imagined that "Focus" stands for "Toggle Sidebar". Usually "focus" is for focusing on current paragraph or sentence. Maybe its just me, but...

Also, if you create a new file via [[new file]] this will happen immediately ;)
