In KM, you can selectively disable macro groups for certain applications. Just do it for the macro group that your ⌃⌘↑ and ⌃⌘↓ triggers are defined in, and your set.  I do this all the time to avoi...

I concur. I'd add that flattening subfolder structure is really jarring to me. I put stuff in folders for a reason :-) Sublime text (with a package called ... i think ... Advanced Folder Management...
