    that's fine, but i should be informed in the UI that i am 'in' some multi-selection mode... 'selecting (multiple) notes' text in the editor window or something.

    Command + select note

    Completed

    holding command allows me to select multiple notes, but Nothing appears in the editor.  I expected to see SOMETHING in the editor...
