I switched to Dropbox and haven't moved back since. I'm up to 6,600 notes in one folder now and the performance is still fine.

Suggestion: if - as I suspect - adding it to the files list is a massive pain programmatically, how about sticking it underneath the "Info" at the bottom of the editor - i.e. a line below the word/...

Ah… yes, I had one for "Rename Selected File", but that no longer appears to be in any menu - can you reinstate?
