I finally got them to work, too. Had to quit the app to make the updates. I used the following to "remove" the divider lines: defaults write com.multimarkdown.nvultra NVTableGridLineInset 250

Yes, I use zoom in Ulysses. I'm going to try to switch back to my personal fonts to see if the issue returns. I haven't experienced it again.

I haven't seen this issue again since resetting the preferences and using Menlo. I've since slowly added all of my preferences back, and I still haven't seen it. It could be an issue with the fonts...

Unrelated, I think, but whenever I use the terminal to change defaults it takes multiple app launches to register.
