Custom.css

Am enjoying MMC5 very much. Thank you.
One problem is that it does not seem to pick up a Custom.css file even though the box is ticked in Settings. I created one with the following:
a.footnote {
line-height: 0 !important;
}
It does not work, but if I add it to the foot of an existing CSS file eg Prententious, it works fine.

It seems to work fine for me. Can you show me a screenshot of your Preview preferences?
