Opening MMDComposer 5 from nvUltra

I suspect that this question is showing my ignorance of how beta versions work? nvUltra has a menu option to "Edit File(s) in MultiMarkdown Composer." I notice though that it will not open MMDComposer 5 beta, indeed appears not to recognize that it is installed. Is that expected behavior at this stage?

  Currently, commands that reference other applications are configured to use the "real" version.  MultiMarkdown Composer v5 has a different bundle ID, that may or may not change before it is official.

   

  If you set v5 as the default application for text files, then you can use the "Edit File(s)" command, along with the CMD-Shift-O shortcut to do the same thing with v5 (which is how I use it).

  Next release will check for Composer 5 and use it if present.
