Alternative code syntax highlighting support

Support for alternative code syntax highlighting packages would be a huge help. For example, the one I need is supported by a 3rd party highlights.js package, but I need to load it as an additional language (see GitHub - highlightjs/highlight.js - Getting the Library).
It's a more obscure than most, but I need Splunk SPL highlighting:
Is there a way to add these types of additional language highlighting packages?

You can use MultiMarkdown's metadata feature to link to any script that you like:

Including built-in support for an endless list of scripts is outside the scope of nvUltra, and is probably even outside the scope of MultiMarkdown Composer.
