Version 1.0.0 (2021.09.01.20.19) and Links and URL in the edit window
CompletedIt's weird that the URL are not clickable when you are in edit mode. Most of the time, I'm working only in Edit mode, But in fact, with hitting cmd-ctrl-P, the URL are not clickable in preview mode either. ;(

Can you give an example? There is a regression in the preview that prevents links from opening, but the editor works fine for me in my testing.

Well, copy and paste this:

That’s not a markdown link. You can wrap it in <> and it will work.
Apple’s data detectors don’t work consistently in nvUltra because it uses syntax highlighting (nvALt does not have syntax highlighting).
And if it’s not a markdown link, it won’t work in preview either, since it’s not a link.

Mmh, I see if I add the url between (), it works but…but this is not super handy. It would be good if a regular URL would work in the markdown parser as well. Or at least to have an option to enable it in the prefs?

Crossed messages, but you’ve more or less got it.
Non-markdown links are very unlikely to happen for both technical and non-technical reasons.

Mmh, it means I either have to use an extra step when copy/pasting url or copy/paste via Hook. But what's weird is that this simple link "bad?" behavior was working pretty all these years in nValt, FoldingText, TaskPaper and 1Writer on iOS. How come?

nvUltra is a different application than the others and has a different goal -- it is specifically focused on handling Markdown/MultiMarkdown text. Plain text is, of course, a subset of Markdown text, so you don't *have* to use Markdown. But for a URL to be "active" it needs to be a Markdown URL.

Okay thanks for the explanation. Do you know already the price tag you're expecting for this app?

We have not finalized pricing/purchase model(s) yet, but will announce it when we are ready.
