General MD post - ReadWise exports MD of your kindle highlights
ReadWise is a tool that gets your highlights from Kindle, Pocket Reader, Medium, and several other sources. It can save a Twitter thread.
Within ReadWise, it surfaces highlights, a few a day, and you can favorite them and tag them. It is a subscription app.
Now they have a Markdown export. You have to go to each book and export it one by one and it is a plain export.
More recently they have built integrations with Roam and Notion. That export is MD but is much better formatted with links and tags and you can do all at once. So if you are using ReadWise, do the export to a trail version of Roam and then export all out of Roam to MD files. It is not perfect, but a good hack. I have not tried the Notion integration to se if that works.
I have requested a more extensive Markdown export from Readwise, but that feature is pending.
