Hide files with no extension?
I have files from Obsidian that I would like to hide, is there a way?
I added just a period to the extension list but did not work.
One fo the files is called "Notes & Settings", does anyone know what app that is from, is it from nvUltra? maybe TextEdit. I would like to hide it from nvUltra.
Thanks,
Rob.

Notes & Settings is from Notational Velocity/nvALT. You should be able to delete it, and it will be recreated if you use that folder with those apps again.
I'll look into excluding files with no extension.

heya,
Pardon my ignorance jumping on this rather old thread but I'd like to suggest something related...
IMHO, it'd be really nice to have a `filter` option for which files are shown (and indexed) in an NVUltra folder view:
There are plenty of git repo's that have `README.md` (and thelike) files in a folder structure that also contains a lot of other material that is not directly viewable from within NVUltra (binaries, sources, etc.); IMHO, nvUltra could be an awesome way to quickly explore and edit those directories, if it'd be possible to black/whitelist, which file(-extensions) should be indexed in the first place...
A blacklist ignore pattern could e.g. follow the quite advanced syncthing pattern ignore scheme (or follow gitignore...).0 -
Till Bovermann - nvUltra has had the "Files to Ignore" preference since very early releases (if not the first public release??)
