Screen flicker in file list
CompletedUsing nvUltra 1.0.0 (66) with macOS 10.5.6
I have
1. File list on
2. Preview on
When typing the file list contents flickers slightly from time to time - the list of files jerk (I am not sure how else to describe it) - it is intermittent but happens constantly.
It also occurs if I turn preview off as well as turning file list on and then off - and after exiting and starting nvUltra again.
Please see the screen recording. https://www.dropbox.com/s/zm768bctkgv9tex/nvultra%20-%20screen%20flicker.mp4?dl=0

If you watch the video slowly, you'll see that one of the files during the flicker (the second from the top of the list) is `NBResource...ecentItems`. Are you using Notebooks? Does this still happen if you quit that application on all of your devices if you're using the same folder?
If another application is modifying your folder, it's going to cause changes to the notes list.

<bump> -- any further information on this one?

I'm not sure that it is the same issue as what you saw, but I did find an issue where editing a file could cause it to jump to the bottom of the list intermittently. It would not explain the `NBResource...` issue.
My issue will be fixed in next release, and can see if it also addresses this one.

I am using Notebooks. And the issue still continues when I quit Notebooks.
I created a new folder and copied some files into. The folder is not connected to or referenced by Notebooks - there is the same problem. Notebooks was not running.
The above was done under Using nvUltra 1.0.0 (68 rather than 66) with macOS 10.5.7 rather than 10.5.6
I will try again when I reboot my machine and on my second machine later.

Less worried about the second machine or macOS version. The Notebooks part is helpful. Thanks!
Try with nvUltra build 69 when it is released and see if that fixes it for you.

It sounds like a display rendering issue with nvUltra. You might consider using a plain White screen to test your monitor or app behavior during typing to identify any visual inconsistencies. This can help pinpoint if it's an app issue or a display problem.
