Thanks for the input, but this request is exceedingly unlikely to be implemented.  (I don't want to give you false hope that the change will made in a future version, when it almost 100% that it won't be made.)

A WikiLink is not a link to a particular document, it is a link to a particular "location".  So if you decide to rename the file `Alpha.md` to `Beta.md`, a link discussing `[[Alpha]]` is still talking about `Alpha`, not `Beta`.

nvUltra does not make changes to files that you don't specifically ask it to make.  Much less making multiple changes to multiple files.

Hi, just got into the beta. Very sad to discover this is not in the plans, as this seems a crucial feature to manage evolving notes (background: I'm a professional novelist and I continuously evolve my database of notes as projects come to light). Linking, as exemplified by Craft, Bear, Obsidian and Roam is becoming the central part of PKM applications, and being able to update files and references without worrying that things will break seems very important. Obsidian does it with files and folders on disk, so it is possible.

In my (personal, but I think lots of people have come to take that as a given) case, I'm sorry to say that this will make nvUltra unsuitable for my use.

Lionel Davoust - no worries.  Definitely use the application that is best for you.  Our goal is not to recreate existing applications but to create the application that we feel is missing from the ecosystem.  That doesn't mean it's for everyone!
