Screen Time social media warning? Instagram?
CompletedI don't know if this is a Multimarkdown or NvUltra Beta issue, but lately when I'm writing I keep getting Screen Time warnings about using Instagram, even though I don't have the website open. (I have it limited for 15 minutes, and I'll get the 5 min warning while I'm writing)
Question: Is MultiMarkdown composer or NvUltra Beta using something with Instagram/Facebook in the background?
My other thought is that some process or plugin is still actively running in Safari, even with all my tabs closed. I don't get it.

Update: I quit safari completely and wrote for a couple more minutes, and the Facebook/Instagram time didn't increase.
Either
- Facebook/Instagram is running all the time in the background with Safari (1Password is my only extension)
- There is a bug in how Apple tracks social media with Instagram/Facebook

My first comment is that if you use Facebook on your computer, there is no telling where that site has "sunk it's hooks". I operate on the assumption that Facebook is a virus factory, and never access it from my desktop. (Well, I really never access it at all, but if so only from an iPhone under the assumption that sandboxing and other security restrictions are more stringent, which may be a faulty assumption.).
Neither nvUltra nor Composer do anything with Facebook/Instagram, unless you have configured your document to link to them in some way. The preferences allow you to configure links to automatically pull in several javascripts from cdn.jsdelivr.net. You can print the preview in your browser in order to be able to view the source to see exactly what is happening.
All that said, I think all apps that are open get counted as part of the screen time -- Chrome/Xcode/Messages/Thunderbird/REsilio Sync/Calendar/Sublime Text/Finder/preview/Terminal all have the exact same time listing on my computer. But I don't have Facebook listed since I never use it.0
