If you can send the crash report to us, that would be helpful.  Apple won't fix our app for us, unfortunately....  ;)

    Thanks!

That crash report shows something I have seen when running from Xcode but not when using nvUltra "live" -- when reopening a document window, macOS tries to set something with a window and applying "shadow parameters".   This seems to be related to the drop shadow effect on windows.  I have not been able to track down what the cause of the problem is.

You can try deleting nvUltra's preferences.  You can also try closing all windows before you quit nvUltra so that nothing gets reopened.

Right now I don't have a better answer.

When I've looked before the only thing I could find that seemed related was that it causes some other apps to crash when run on Mojave.  (Which, I believe, is where I've seen it.  I don't think I've seen it on 10.15 or 10.13)

    Though I notice you're running 10.15

Yes, I am running 10.15.3.  The problem seems to have solved itself or update fixed it (now on version 1.0.0(51).  I don't know why because it was happening all the time.  Currently I am opening nvUltra with 4 windows, one of them is at the root of my notes so there is over 2,000 "notes".
