    I've never seen that before.  Have you tried rebooting your computer?

    Stephen Schwerdfeger -- but if you reboot computer does it continue to happen?  I have never seen that occur.  And the notes list is a relatively "vanilla" macOS table view, so it shouldn't be like that because of something I did.
