text overwriting in note list

text overwrites itself in note list. have seen when entering text and app finds matches. screen grab attached.

I've never seen that before. Have you tried rebooting your computer?

Stephen Schwerdfeger -- but if you reboot computer does it continue to happen? I have never seen that occur. And the notes list is a relatively "vanilla" macOS table view, so it shouldn't be like that because of something I did.
