Weird overwriting behavior within [square brackets]
CompletedSorry — I wasn't using 46 after all on this machine, but 45 (I had upgraded a different Mac). After I updated to 46, this behavior stopped. My apologies.
I'm using 46. When I try to enter a Markdown link or image link by hand, I type the opening square bracket [ and the it inserts the closing square bracket ] automatically — as I want.
However, when I then start typing inside the square bracket, I can only type one character at a time — the next character overwrites the first, etc., so there is only ever one character between the brackets (the most recently typed one).
I can reproduce this consistently, but I'm not sure how to capture it.
FWIW, it looks like it truly overwrites, because when I type a couple words and then delete the closing bracket, there is only one character there (so it isn't just a display problem).
This doesn't happen within parentheses ( ), braces { } or angle brackets < >, though they also autocomplete (behavior I do want).

Just to make sure I am not misunderstanding -- as of build 46, all is well, right?
There was an autocomplete issue, but it should be fixed by now.

Yes, all is well. My apologies.

No need for apologies. Didn't want to ignore an active bug!
Thanks!!
