Newest beta won't launch / serious curser issues
CompletedI use the beta on iMacs running MacOS 10.13.6 and a Macbook running 10.15.2.
On the iMac I have access to today the newest beta 1.0.044 that peacefully did it's duty yesterday won't launch, trashing the app and reinstalling from the latest dmg won't work.
On my MacBook and my another iMac I experience serious issues with the curser, particularly after working in MMD tables (I use LOTS of large tables in my files). Typing a letter will lead to a selection of that letter, so the next letter will overwrite the existing one. Typing a space selects the entire line. Quitting the file and reopening it helps temporarily.
I am a bit freaked out, since I went already full in with nvUltra, since it provides exactly the functionality I need, so I hope that this gets resolved soon.

I am seeing the same crashing behavior in Catalina.
On 10.13.6 it is working fine.

I've not seen any problems with 1.0.0 (45) running under Catalina 10.15.2. Tables are functioning properly for me and I haven't noticed any bizarre cursor behavior.
Keep up the good work Fletcher and Brett!

Just downloaded 1.0.0 (45), thanx Brett for providing it, the app now launches again. What I forgot to mention is that I had already been updated to V45 before the app refused to launch this morning.
I will have a look on the cursor behaviour in the MMD table, I suspect it is somehow related to automatic tab insertion and elastic tabs.

Correct -- build 44 is a month old (hence the expiration). Build 45 was the most recent, but we pushed build 46 today, so that is now the most recent. I've been running nvUltra on both Catalina and High Sierra on a daily basis without trouble. I do not test regularly on 10.13.
At least since build 44 (maybe 43??) nvUltra pops up a message when we release a new version that alerts you so you can manually run an update check even if the automatic check with Sparkle doesn't run. But it doesn't hurt to check every week or so anyway.
Michael Raess -- if you can send a screen recording of the cursor behavior the next time it happens, as well as the actual file it happens with, I'll be happy to take a look.

I made a screen recording of the cursor behaviour. Apologies for the large screen, but this screen capture was a bit of an impromptu activity.
Link via WeTransfer, please let me know if I should provide the file in a different way: https://we.tl/t-3qco6xbZzK
Just as an explanation of what can be seen in the recording:
- You see the cursor focus is on the first letter 'e', and typing other letters just overwrites the old letters, but the cursor focus / text selection is maintained.
- I then move the focus away from the first letter with the 'arrow-right' key and type again a letter, both letters get selected, and so on. After inserting the letters "erst" plus a space I insert a line break, and the whole thing starts over again.
I hope that this is helpful.

Should have mentioned that this was done in build 45 before updating to 46.

Michael Raess -- are you still having trouble? build 49 released yesterday which should have fixed a few more issues

All the cursor issues have been resolved for me, actually already in build 48. I have two more issues that I will describe in different posts, because they are unrelated to this one.
