Renaming files bug(?)
CompletedI often name files starting with an all-caps abbreviation, like: CI - Bunnies.
Sometimes the file name (in the app window) ends up like this: cI - Bunnies
It happens as I am typing the new name, it starts out capitalized and then gets changed to lowercase (not sure why, but I think it might be because some similarly named files are not capitalized). I often hit enter before I realize it has happened.
But when I try to rename the created file, I get the error:
File 'CI. - Bunnies.md' already exists in the folder.
even though the displayed name is NOT capitalized. Anyone know what is going on here?
Thanks
Andrew

Further details. It turns out that despite the error, the file is not capitalized either. Which suggests that changing filename capitalization after the fact is not currently possible.

The renaming code prevents you from overwriting an existing file when you rename. In this case the new name was the same as the old name (in a case insensitive file system). I now test whether you are effectively renaming a file to the same name and allow that exception.
Thanks!

Fletcher Penney does this mean the behavior will change in an upcoming release? If so, thanks!
