No longer opens folders

When I start nvUltra no windows are open (including navigator). If I select File -> Open Recent -> NV (my folder name) I get the error "The document “NV” could not be opened."

If do File -> Open -> and manually select the same or a different folder, nothing happens. 

Any clue on what's happening here? I did upgrade to Catalina fairly recently and I'm not sure if that coincided with this behavior starting.

This is v44, though this started happening with v43 and I tried updating but there was no change.

  Note that the folder still opens fine with nvAlt (2.2.8) so I don't think the files are corrupt.

  Okay, now it seems to have fixed itself after I updated OS X to 10.15.2.

  Hmmmm...  Not sure what was going on.  I've been using nvUltra with no trouble on 10.15.1.

   

  Glad it's working for you now, and let us know if it stops working again.
