AsciiDoc integration

Bret-

Have you considered adding AsciiDoc support to nvUltra?  Markdown is great for daily work, but for really complex documents I sometimes need AsciiDoc (AsciiDoctor).  Is this anywhere on your roadmap?

  No.  But nvUltra works with any plain text files, so you can of course use AsciiDoc with it, just like you can with nvAlt.

   

  For obvious reasons, however, the custom features in nvUltra's editor are tightly coupled with the MultiMarkdown code base, and this will not change unless I tire of MultiMarkdown for some unforeseen reason.  So the syntax highlighting is Markdown/MultiMarkdown only, and the HTML preview is based on Markdown/MultiMarkdown rendering only as well.  That said, most of the custom editing features are designed to be fairly generic so that nvUltra is useful as a general text editor even if you don't use Markdown.
