You can delete unneeded items, but I have added a check to delete entries that are no longer accessible.

Thank you. Never occurred to me to try just deleting it.

I have the same problem as macoxguru, but I am unable to delete those folders in the navigator that no longer exist. I've tried the delete key, but nothing; right-clicking on those folders in the navigator does not bring up any menu. Could you please clarify? Thank you.

Make sure you have upgraded to the latest version.  The delete key works when you select a row in the table.

In my case, the delete key did not do anything in version 37, but I've just updated to version 38, and the no-longer-existing folders are no longer shown in the Navigator. I am not sure whether that was intentional on your part, but it works for me! So thanks!

You can always see the release notes for every version at https://nvultra.com/help/changelog (to answer the question "was it intentional?")

Thank you for the clarification: I see it was intentional, so thank you even more!

I'm not sure why you were unable to use the delete key (that functionality has existed for quite a while, and still works in v 38).   If you decide to look at it again, make sure you have selected the table -- editing the search bar does not delete folders.

I'm not sure either... I have just done a test with version 38, and I was able to remove a folder from the Navigator with both the delete key and the new contextual menu, so I am not sure what the problem was, but I will keep an eye on it and will let you know if it shows up again. Thanks.

I've got a folder in the Folder Navigation window I can't delete, either by right-clicking and choosing "Remove folder from Navigator", or selecting the row and pressing delete, cmd-delete or backspace.

(In case anyone who reported the original bug still has it…)

I dug into it -- this is different.  Recent builds add items from the "Open Recent" menu which is helpful for unpaid users.  For paid users, that was still active, which meant that the item stuck around until it fell off the Recent Items list.

If you clear that menu, then it will be gone.

I'll work on a change to this behavior.

Thanks, I can confirm that works.
