[BUG]? Issues with Virtual Desktops (i.e. Spaces)
CompletedI'm not sure if these are bugs or if they are working as intended, but these behaviors are different than nvAlt.
Setup: Firefox is open in Space 1, nvUltra is open in Space 2
1) While in Space 1 with Firefox, hit global hotkey. Display switches to Space 2 and nvUltra opens.
2) Hit global hotkey again. nvUltra closes, but Display remains in Space 2.
With nvAlt, Display would return to Space 1 and Firefox.
Another, similar issue with the same setup:
1) While in Space 2 with nvUltra open, switch Display to Space 1
2) Switch display back to Space 2. nvUltra is now closed.
With nvAlt, when switching Spaces, nvAlt would remain open.

macOS, not nvUltra, controls which spaces are active and which applications are assigned to which spaces. You can control that by changing which apps are linked to which spaces (via the Dock) and other settings (via the Mission Control System Settings).
Also, you can control whether nvUltra stays open or closed when inactive via the General preferences in nvUltra -> Show Dock Icon.

No, I get how the Spaces work and how to switch which applications are assigned to them. I'm just pointing out that nvAlt, when closed, would return you to your starting space, but nvUltra when closed leaves you in nvUltra's space.
I'm just pointing out that there is a difference in behavior and I didn't know if that difference is intentional.
I prefer the old behavior so that I can toggle between the 2 spaces just using the global hotkey, but I can work around that if the new behavior is the intended one.

nvAlt remains a "dock icon-less" app at all times once that is selected, which disables menu bar functionality. This would render much of nvUltra useless (and is arguably problematic with nvAlt but that is a separate discussion).
So instead, nvUltra enables the Dock icon when it is active, and hides it again when nvUltra moves to the background. In this regard, nvUltra behaves like a regular application and not a "menu bar only" application, and they interact with spaces differently.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks!
