Steps to repro

1. for metadata, enter

tags:
title: This is a title

2. observe

 

Actual:

title is not parsed

 

Desired:

Accept that there are no tags and parse the next line

  Correct - MultiMarkdown does not allow for empty metadata tags (it becomes too likely to trigger false positives in documents where metadata was not intended.)
