Renaming pdf adds .md

I copied a pdf file in the nvUltra notes folder outside nvUltra. It appeared in nvUltra with name.pdf showing in the notes list. Then I renamed the name of the pdf in nvUltra, keeping the .pdf extension. As a result nvUltra got stuck. I force quit nvUltra and noticed the pdf had become "newname.pdf.md" in the notes directory, and apparently nvUltra was trying to read/index it as a Markdown file.
