Low color contrast on search screen

I am running Mac OS X 10.14.4. When I select text in the search bar, the color being used is the one that is typically used in menu bars with the text becoming white; it's not the muted color that I expect.

  This is addressed in another issue.

   

  The colors in the search bar can be customized as part of the theme.  The default highlight color for some themes was copied as red when it should not have been -- this has been fixed for next release.  (It actually has nothing to do with menu bars.)
