Scrolling large file (1000 lines) jumps around

Slowly scrolling a large file with the mouse seems to have it jump around erratically. I think it's trying to jump to the next/previous section, but it seems to be missing the mark.

In any case, I expected a smooth scroll.

Found nothing in the community and nothing in preferences that seems to affect scrolling.

  I can't replicate this.  Can you send a video of exactly what you're seeing/doing? (e.g. via Quicktime player)

  I'd like to reopen the issue. I've been seeing this effect when Typewriter Mode is enabled. If one scrolls or drags the scrollbar up or down a longer distance, the screen tends to jump back to the previous position (with the cursor). It happens even with only ~150 lines, and slow or quick doesn't make a difference. If you're quick enough to place the cursor in another position, the jump doesn't happen.

  Maybe you have to work some time in the editor before this effect is taking place.

  I'm using the newest version 5.0.0 (2022.08.05.01.56).
