Autocompletion Dictionaries

If I add a phrase to the dictionary file such as:

Brian Samuel & Associates

or

Brian Samuel and Associates

I did both because I thought the ampersand might be causing a problem.

When I expand it the "Samuel" and "Associates" are in lower case.

  They both work just fine for me.  What are you typing to trigger the autocompletion?  Do you have any conflicting autocompletion triggers in macOS or any other utilities?

   

  Unless you're sending a capitalized/lowercase trigger (e.g. `Bsam`) which then applies matched casing to the replacement string.

   

  Lower case triggers leave the replacement alone. (`bsam`)

  Capitalized applies all caps (`BSAM`)

  Title case matches it (`Bsam`)

  Other mixed cases leave replacement alone (`bSAm`)

  Thanks for the explanation. I now understand the logic. 

  An excellent feature which I'll find a great deal of use for.
