Unusual search behaviour

When I search in the search/create bar for 2019-07 I get the results I would expect.

When I search for 2019-07 plus another search term I get no results.

If I search for 2019 07 and the same search term then I get results but obviously not as narrowed as I would like.

I assume the - is causing me the problem. Is this expected and or is there a work around?

  Hyphens work fine inside a word.  I'll need to look back at the code to see if it allows hyphens "inside a number."  That should be fixable.

   

  In general, punctuation is not allowed in search.  Hyphens are an exception since they can legitimately occur inside words.

  Fixed -- hyphens are now allowed inside "numbers" as well as words.
