Unable to create image or url links
CompletedWhen I try to create an image or url link by typing either [] or ![], after typing the first open bracket character ('['), the closing bracket is created. Typing in between the bracket allows me to enter only a single character. Continuing to type appear to replace the character inbetween the brackets, but I cannot actually create the proper link.
In the preview pane only the single character is seen as well.
If I drag and drop an image file on the app, the link is created in the format . Again I cannot put more than one character into the square brackets. (Further, I would have expected creation of a fully qualified, rather than relative, file url with the proper file:// prefix as well).
Similarly, if I drag. and drop another file, such as a pdf, the file path is inserted while I would have expected a link to be inserted.

I'll have to dig into this -- it looks like some sort of a regression when fixing something else. Thanks!

I'm seeing similar issues when attempting to create footnotes. When I open square brackets every character I type is selecting the full string and if I type more than one at a time it overwrites previously entered text. Downloaded latest version today (29)

I'll throw in: I can confirm this, too, when using square brackets for e.g., [string](URL)

Fixed for next release.
