Will consider this -- thanks for the suggestion.

Added a menu command to rename the currently selected file (assuming there is exactly 1).  There's no default key command, but as you note this can be customized by the user.

If there is a default key command that makes sense, we can consider that.

    Hurrah! Thank you so much.

My instinct for a default key is cmd-r, but I understand that’s preview refresh. That said, the preview does a good job of refreshing itself in real time; is there a scenario when I would _need_ to manually refresh?

Yes -- some javascripts only run when a page is first loaded (not when it is modified).  So this requires a refresh/reload.  (You can set preview to do full reload with each update, but this can cause other issues with scripts (e.g. MathJax causes "jittering" when you do this.)

⌘⇧R would make sense to me.

I've added ⌘R as my personal shortcut, but ⌘⇧R would certainly work for me.

A related bug - if you start to rename a file, then press escape to cancel, the window somehow loses focus, so attempting to use the up and down arrow keys just makes macOS play sound effects at you. (High Sierra, 10.13.6)

William Turrell -- the bug you mention is now fixed.  Thanks!
