I can't replicate this.  Can you show the nvUltra Window (or at least the notes list portion of it) side-by-side with the corresponding Finder window?  The commands to remove the file(s) from the notes list and to move the file to the trash happen together, so I can't see a way that only one is called, but not the other.  So when I watch this, the file disappears from the folder at the same time it disappears from the notes list.

Does this also happen in a non-Dropbox folder?  If not, perhaps you have something configured in your Dropbox settings that is preventing the file from being moved to the trash??? (I work almost exclusively with files in Dropbox, and don't have trouble with deleting files this way.)  For example, if I delete a file and then hit "Cancel" in the Dropbox dialog, the file reappears both in the folder and in nvUltra.

    Fixed.

The problem was corrupt Trash folder permissions as described and solved here:

I tested deleting from a non-Dropbox folder. Same issue. Delete from the Finder, and files seem to delete.  But they would not be put in the Trash holding area, which I didn't realize earlier. The solution above repaired the permissions so Trash/nvUltra act as expected.

    Thank you!

Yay!  A bug that is not related to my software!!  ;)
