Menu Item for CriticMarkup delete?

Can you add a menu item for criticmarkup delete? I'd like to set a keyboard shortcut for it. :)

  I'll second this, and also request a CriticMarkup menu item for insertion.

  I use plain text to edit copy that I then share with others. It would be very useful to have menu items for wrapping text with {-- --} and {++ ++} in addition to the existing {== ==} and {<< >>} (usually via Marked and its very nice CriticMarkup display).
