[ BUG ] opening last folder when activating app with shortcut
CompletedHello, I don't know whether it is a bug or feature request, but after hiding nvultra and sometime later bringing it to the front with a shortcut the last opened folder is not active. The app opens up a random set of empty windows each with an empty folder.

Can you send more details about this? I can certainly be wrong, but this doesn't sound like a bug in nvUltra -- it sounds like it is being asked to to open new windows from some other process....
What shortcut are you using? Can you send a screencast (e.g. with QuickTime Player?)
Thanks!

Hello, and thanks for the answer. I use cmd+shift+space. The issue appears when closing nvUltra with cmd+W shortcut, then when brought back with cmd+shift+space it opened described windows. After updating Mojave nvUltra opens Folder Navigator, which is obvious in terms of multiple folders. However, within Folder Navigator my recent folder doesn't appear and I have to open it manually. Maybe it's my habits coming from using nvAlt for so long, but I find this behavior a little confusing, Is it possible to have some kind of "favorite" folder or a default one selected in app preferences?
Thanks for the great work, already loving nvUltra ;)

I noticed that the issue appears only when using CMD+W. When hiding/opening nvUtra using global shortcut everything works as expected.

I still am not sure I understand what "other windows" you're referring to.
Yes -- if you close the last open window (Cmd-W), when you reactivate nvUltra (with no open windows), the folder navigator automatically opens so you can quickly open previously used folders. If there's only one, it opens that folder automatically instead.
Are you sure about the most recently used folder not appearing in the Folder Navigator? Can you send details on how to replicate that? Every folder that is opened gets added to the app's preferences, and those preferences are used to populate the folder navigator. You can verify this in the terminal:
defaults read com.multimarkdown.nvultra | grep "FOLDER:"

I use cmd+O to open a folder, chose one from my iCloud drive. However, it doesn't show up neither in Folder Navigator nor in the output of the command you send.

Are you sure it's not there? It will start with "Library/Mobile Documents/....", so it might not appear where you're expecting it to be. Especially if you have a search query in the folder navigator.
iCloud folders show up in that list for me without a problem.
If it's still not working, send a screencast (e.g. with QuickTime Player) and maybe that will offer us a clue.
(But the nvUltra beta is not sandboxed, which in early years would block access to iCloud drive. My understanding is that Apple has relaxed that restriction on macOS, so even un-sandboxed you can access those folders.)
