Just started kicking the tires under Mojave; looking great
CompletedLoving this so far, guys — everything I’d hoped-for/expected from the successor to Notational Velocity, nvALT, Multimarkdown Composer, and Marked 2.
Happily, as I’d recently stripped down (right-sized?) my stable of note-taking/everything bucket apps, nvUltra still plays very nicely with DEVONthink, so this will help bring the much-loved functionality of Marked 2 back into my life.

I also downloaded the beta today. I used nvALT earlier. Currently my "system" is spread between Bear, Drafts, DEVONthink, Pinboard, Day One, TapForms, Paprika, Apple Notes and some other apps, and it's not optimal. It can get a bit complex with multiple inboxes and remembering where you have that information.
While I love Bear, not having the plain text files on disk, editable with other applications or scripts, etc, seems too much of a hindrance. Also the tags in Bear are outside of the MacOS tagging system. I set up the nvUltra notes directory as an indexed folder in DEVONthink and they play quite nicely together at least on MacOS. iOS is a bit more complicated considering sync, but I think I'll mainly use DEVONthink to search for information from multiple sources and modify the notes with something like 1Writer.

Glad it's working well for you!
