"tags out of sync" dialogue
CompletedThis alert comes up every time I add a tag to a note - making it extremely laborious to add e.g. the same tag to dozens of notes. Is there a way to disable this - AND/OR can you recommend a way to add tags to multiple notes at once?

We had debated this earlier in development but I think it's wise to revisit the dialog. You can disable it under Preferences->File (Sync macOS and MMD Tags), but then tags you add via metadata won't be added to the macOS tags. I'll huddle with Fletcher and revisit the interface.

thanks - It would be cool, anyway, if there was a human-friendly way to add the same text to the top of multiple text files.

At this point, we are not planning any "batch editing" functionality.
If you use both macOS tags and MMD tags, and want them in sync, then the recommended approach would be:
1. Use the Finder to select the desired files, and use right-click to add your tags to the files.
2. As you edit those files in nvUltra (or MMD Composer for that matter), the discrepancy will be noticed and the app will offer to synchronize the tags.
3. nvUltra only checks tag status when you edit a file (otherwise scrolling through the list would trigger that dialog too frequently).
