Split Editor
CompletedI would find it really useful to be able to split the editor to have two documents open side by side, or top/bottom. Ulysses and Scrivener handle this well.

That functionality is available in MMD Composer, but is outside the planned scope of nvUltra at this time.
What you can do, however, is open the parent folder of a document, as well as a parent of that folder. This allows you to work on the same document in two (or more) windows.
For example:
File: /Folder/subfolder/foo.txt
Folder1:/Folder
Folder2:/Folder/subfolder

Thanks, but same document doesn't fit my workflow. I usually just keep a scratch note/sheet open and use the second editor to search for different documents I have to refer to throughout the day. Being limited to one sheet at a time makes it difficult for me as the document I have to refer to may not be the one I want to write in. Open to suggestions on how to improve my workflow so I won't need a 2nd editor/sheet. :)

That was just an example. Editing a single file twice is usually the more challenging specific case of the general scenario of editing two documents.
Once you open two windows (as above), you can edit whichever files you want.
