Advanced Debug Logging
PinnedIn some instances, we may ask you to use an extra debugging feature to gather additional information to assist with tracking down a problem in nvUltra.
1. Check the "Enable advanced debug logging" preference in the General preferences pane.
2. Quit nvUltra
3. Using the Terminal application, you need to change the directory to inside the application bundle. For example, if nvUltra is on the Desktop, `cd ~/Desktop` and then `cd nvUltra\ Beta.app/Contents/MacOS`
4. Launch the application using `./nvUltra\ Beta`
You will now see debugging information inside the Terminal application, including all text displayed in the editor pane, and any changes you type. Do what you need to do in order to recreate the problem you encountered, and then copy the relevant log to send to us for analysis and to try and reproduce the issue.
(This will, of course, include the contents of your document so be sure that it is not a "super-confidential" document. Please do not modify the debugging log in any way, as it will then most likely not be useful for reproducing the issue.)
