[SUGGESTION] Searching would be improved by allowing for corrections

Deleting individual characters in the search field would ideally be considered the same as adding characters, for the purposes of refreshing the search list. I.e. if I type in "rich" and get a list of results with that word, and then type "richt", I might see all results vanish. Backspacing "t" so that I have "rich" again should return me to where I was before adding a "t", without my having to backspace further into "h" merely to type in "h" again and refresh the list.
