Automatic linking based on name/aliases
I don't know if this is feasible, but with many apps nowadays offering this feature (e.g. DT3 and Voodoopad) I think this would be an important one to have. (My workflow, for instance, relies on it).

Do you mean like WikiLinks (`[[file name]]`)? That already works.

I mean `file name`, without the need of `[[``]]`.
So, let us say that I have a text file with words that match the name of another file already in the folder. Those words would automatically become links to the file. It would be somewhat similar to the glossary feature: once you define the word one time, there is no need to do it again for another occurrences of the same word.
Here is an exemple taken from DT3 Beta2:

Ideally, one would be able to choose between automatic linking and the [[wiki links]] style.

Bernardo,
We'll look at this for a future version.
Thanks!

I think this could help with serendipitously linking notes together and would be beneficial to users that take a lot of single subject notes to trigger these links (since I think it would require filenames to be single subject to come up naturally). I also think the *Connections* feature could provide the same serendipity.
Bernardo CDA Vasconcelos Do you think the Connections list would suffice or do you find the automatic note linking in Devonthink to be useful in its own way?
I'm a long-time Devonthink user but mainly for file organization and not a note-system since their iOS app is more for consuming than creating notes at this time.
