Long Links are justified to fill the entire width of the editor pane.

When entering an HTML link using the [label](URL) format, if the editor window is not wide enough to show the entire link on a single line, the [label] portion is justified so that it takes up the entire width of the editor.

The rendered HTML in the preview window is not affected.

  You can turn off just justified text alignment if you prefer not to use it. (In the Appearance preference pane)
