"File has changed" pop-up
I get this fairly often when I'm actively typing in a MMDComposer5 beta document (as in this pops up and interrupts my typing mid-word):

This happens when there is only one file open in MMDComposer. This has been happening for some time (over a few beta versions, currently running Version 5.0.0 (2023.11.03.03.02)). Selecting Reload allows me to continue. This pattern repeats; after I select Reload I might only get a sentence or two additionally written before it happens again. At other times it seems not to reoccur. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all. I have not found a pattern to explain when it happens.
My files are stored in directories that are a part of my iCloud synced space (under the Documents directory hierarchy). I've wondered if this has anything to do with iCloud syncing these files as I write? (Just a guess.) Mac auto-save, which is enabled in the MMDComposer5 settings, seems not to be working as well.
Update: I just noticed the option further down in the Files Settings tab: “Automatically update when file is changed by another program.” I've switched this off (it was on, by default I assume) and well see if this stops this behavior.

Are you still experiencing this?
I had the same thing with one or two files, but could not nail down the exact cause.
My file was in iCloud as well. I was not editing the file on any other devices at the time.
I just pushed a new beta, compiled against the latest (non-beta) SDK. I'm trying to get caught up on some bug testing, and will pay attention to this one as well.
Thank you!
