Expected behaviour in creating filenames?
CompletedHi, one thing I want to use nvUltra for is for my Film List, the Subject/Name of the entry is the Film Title followed by Year of Release, example FilmTitleName (2023).
I have noticed a situation where how the .md filename is named comes out incorrectly.
The movie 12:01 (1993) creates a file name 12/01 (1993).md.
The movie 11/18/16 (2017) creates a .md file name 16 (2017).md within a folder 18 within a folder 11.
Is this the expected behaviour of this? Ideally I would want the filename of the second to be 11/18/16 (2017).md.
Version 1.0.0 (2023.06.24.20.15) is my current version, though this was updated after I encountered this situation.
Thanks, Mike

The `/` character indicates a folder, so typing `foo/bar` indicates the folder `foo` and the file `bar`.
`:` is not allowed in macOS filenames.
Interestingly, it does appear that a file named `a/b` appears in nvUltra as `a:b`, and as you note, creating a file named `a:b` results in a file actually named `a/b`.
I will note that in general it is probably not best practice to use forward or backslashes in file names, but you may of course do what you like. In terms of nvUltra, I think that typing a slash is best used to indicate the creation of folders (in fact, it would be rather complicated for it to *not* work that way).
As you discovered, an easy workaround is to simply type `:` whenever you want a `/` to appear in the filename.
