Expected behaviour in creating filenames?

The `/` character indicates a folder, so typing `foo/bar` indicates the folder `foo` and the file `bar`.

`:` is not allowed in macOS filenames.

Interestingly, it does appear that a file named `a/b` appears in nvUltra as `a:b`, and as you note, creating a file named `a:b` results in a file actually named `a/b`.

I will note that in general it is probably not best practice to use forward or backslashes in file names, but you may of course do what you like.  In terms of nvUltra, I think that typing a slash is best used to indicate the creation of folders (in fact, it would be rather complicated for it to *not* work that way).

As you discovered, an easy workaround is to simply type `:` whenever you want a `/` to appear in the filename.
