Deleted files continue to show in search
CompletedI am using Version 1.0.0 (2023.05.18.02.54)
Mac OS Ventura 13.4
I create a file called test.md.
I select test.md and then click File→ Move Selected File(s) to the Trash
The file is is removed and the current selection in the file list moves to the next file.
I verify that the file test.md no longer exists in the file system.
I then focus in the search bar and type ‘test’
The search bar shows test.md with the .md part highlighted as a potentioal completion.
In the file list I see ‘test’ at the top of the list.
In the edit window I see a large icon for Markdown files (Mine happens to be associated with TextMate since that is currently set as the default editor for markdown files)
There are two ways that I have found to get nvUltra to “forget” about this entry:
- Exit the application and run it again.
- Select the “test” entry in the file list again and once again use File→ Move Selected Files to the Trash.

I noticed that in my settings the Feature Set was “FreeApp”. (I'm setting up a new Mac)
When I change this setting to “Paid App”, the behavior no longer manifests and the it seems to work correctly.
The directory that I opened contains 248 files which caused the <File Limit Exceeded> message when using the “Free App” setting.

I just installed the latest version: Version 1.0.0 (2023.09.20.16.54)
This issue looks to be a little better but there is still a corner case where the bug appears.
If I create a two notes such that the name of one is a prefix of the other, then "move to trash) the note wit the shorter name. That note still shows in the file list. Even though the backing file has been removed.
For example: Create two noted “test” and “test two”. Then move “test” to the trash.

Fixed for next release.
