Can't get note link

This piece of applescript, which I've lifted more or less verbatim from here, gives the error:

error "nvUltra Beta got an error: Can’t get note link of window id 134299." number -1728 from note link of window id 134299

tell application id "com.multimarkdown.nvUltra"
	set _win to window 1
	get note link of _win
end tell

Macbook pro 2017, Catalina 10.15.7, nvUltra Beta 78

  Same problem when using the full script from Advanced Features.

  Error message: Can’t get file of window id 7160.

  M1 Mac Mini, 16GB, 2 TB, Big Sur 11.3.

  Is nvUltra visible when you are running the application?  I can only get scripts to run when nvUltra is visible (e.g. not in dock only mode).  Otherwise, starting with `activate` as the first command to the app inside the tell block works.
