Application Support Folder Location in Big Sur

I had the Application Support folder symlinked for settings, but I noticed the folder moved to 

~/Library/Group Containers/com.multimarkdown.shared/Library/Application Support/MultiMarkdown Software

Was this a result of me upgrading to Big Sur or did the directory actually change in-code?

Aside, is there a better way to sync settings/css/dictionaries?

  It's not a Big Sur thing, since that's where it's located for me on 10.15.7 as well.

   

  It seems like that is the proper place for it -- perhaps some earlier builds were less "officially signed" for macOS, and therefore weren't properly sandboxed??

   

  At this time there is not a better way to sync support files.  I experimented with one in MultiMarkdown Composer, but it never worked as well as it should have.
