I think Typora (https://typora.io) has some slick features - feel free to take a look.

I think there's one that nvUltra would definitely benefit from - the ability to set syntax highlighting for code elements + line numbers.

  Language-specific code snippet syntax highlighting can be used in the preview, but not in the editor.  No plans to add this to the editor.
