Glad it's working better for you, but not sure what is different for you.

If you ever figure out what it was, let me know.  That way I can try to ensure it stays fixed!

    Good day Fletcher,

I'm just curious about your progress on the fix to transclusion, which works in NvUltra, but not not in MMD5.  I'll refer you to a previous thread here in which you anticipate a fix in a future update.  I'm just curious because it's among my top five use cases.  As I stated earlier, since I'm in the NvUltra Beta as well it's not such a great issue that transclusion is broken in MMD5 because I can easily shift over to NvUltra when the need arises.

Just checking in while we all have a bit of down time

It's been fixed for quite a while in my use.  Is there something that is not working for you?

Well, I do suppose I have a bit of a mystery on my hands to troubleshoot.  I've checked to compare the Preferences panel in both MMD5 and NvUltra and I have identical boxes checked in the MMD panel.  Enable Transclusion is checked.

NvUltra behavior:  I enter {{ and immediately see a menu of file options appear from which I can select to bring another file into the preview panel.

MMD5 behavior:  I enter {{ and nothing happens.  I suppose the first troubleshooting question for you would be this: Is there another place I could be looking, another box to check or uncheck to enable. Better still, is there documentation that I could refer to in order to set up transclusion in MMD5 so that I might start the set-up from scratch.

I am running on the update indicated in this thread and I have the latest NvUltra update (where transclusion has always worked fine).

That’s not transclusion, that is autocompletion. nvultra works with folders so it can autocomplete with files inside that folder. There is not the same concept with composer which works with individual files.

Thank you. Got it. I see now that MMD5 works as expected with individual files.
