Hang and scroll NVUltra Version 1.0.0 (2022.11.02.23.49)
CompletedTwo separate issues (sorry if these should be two separate posts).
Issue 1
A recent behaviour: NVU has taken to hanging periodically - a least once every hour or so. Spinner shows and NVU can be force quit or recovers within 60 seconds or so.
Issue 2
Scrolling in a long text is difficult as the document will jump back to an earlier part. It is frequently difficult to get to the end of a long document.
Thanks!

Thanks!
I've seen the scrolling issue (it scrolls back to the insertion point, so if you navigate that way, it helps. I'm trying to track down the source of this. Do you have the preview enabled when this is happening?
I have not heard of the hanging issue. If you can send a hang report, that would be useful in trying to track down what happened. Does it happen with a particular file?

And of course I'm struggling to reproduce the scrolling issue to dig in. Do you have a file that causes that issue reliably?

Perhaps a better question -- do you have typewriter mode enabled?

Typewriter mode is not enabled.
Preview is not enabled.
Issue 1
I have looked at console logs but don't see any reference to NVUltra. I will see if I can keep track of the time and note what occurs.
Issue 2
I had wondered if the insertion point wasn't being a little bit 'magnetic'. I will see if I can get the behaviour to occur reliably. I think it often come to my attention when I search all dos (using the bar) for a word and then find that scrolling bounces back to the top.

I think I figured this out. Thanks!

Re: hanging -- it won't be in the console. Sometimes you get a "hang report" that is similar to a "crash report". If so, please send that to me.
Thanks!

Thanks, Fletcher, for fixing the scrolling issue.
NVUltra is an appreciated part of my workflow. Following on in NVAlt and The Archive, it is supports my 10 yr+ Markdown habit and reliably shares my 2,500+ documents with 1Writer on iPad and iPhone. (I don't use Preview in NVUltra, but turn to Marked 2 when I need output.
